I am a physical therapist, massage therapist, craniosacral practitioner, and Reiki Master by trade. I am passionate about the mind-body connection and the inner-wisdom we each carry. I left the profession of PT to pursue more creative bodywork in my own private practice. Although I do continue to carry a PT license,  I practice and work within the guidelines of my Massage License in the state of NC. 

 

Many of my techniques and skills draw from my attunement and sensitivity to your nervous system as well as the energetic pathways and patterns in your body. I work very intuitively, no two sessions are the same. Part of my process is listening and connecting on a deeper level where healing is possible and accessible in ways I cannot fully explain. I currently focus on distance energy healing through Usui Reiki, and it is profound the level of healing that can occur from a distance. I bring this method into my painting sessions with clients seeking to process, integrate, and heal their energetic and emotional wounds. 

 

Because this is my approach, people with chronic pain, degenerative conditions, history of trauma, and spiritual and emotional pain are best suited to my approach. I find it is best received by creative, intuitive, and open individuals that consider themselves to be on a healing journey of which they are the guide and I am the facilitator. Having a meditation, artistic, or yoga practice seems to really help your brain and body be ready for the style of healing work I do, but it's certainly not necessary.
