Artist Statement
At the root and heart of my work is a deep longing to heal through connection. We all have challenging, subjective experiences that often separate us, but in reality we are all experiencing the same terrain of humanness in our own beautiful way. I hope that my art captures the soul of a thing. The soul of our emotions. The soul of each of us. I am seeking to bring to life the invisible parts of us that we hide. That we cannot explain. Beyond words, beyond the binary, beyond social constructs, we can find a timeless place of oneness that brings us together. I paint in this space.
There is no separation of self and other when we are fully present and true to our whole self.
