Painting Lessons
As a teacher, I want to be sure that it's clear to you I am a support and a guide, holding space for you to unfold at your own pace and in your own beautiful way. A good teacher is actually a mentor who honors the innate impulse and creative spirit that you were born with. This is what I aim to do with you.
I think what people respond to most is my joy and the fact that I am playful, free, and mindful in my process. I also focus on expressing emotions as part of the process, so many of my referals and students come from therapists seeking to support their clients in having a creative and cathartic practice to support their healing.
I have no formal training. I'm not an art therapist. I do not pretend to be an expert. I simply heal and process my own emotions on the canvas as a life practice. Painting is so good for my mental health and it feeds my heart tremendously. I literally don't care what it looks like (although it's exciting when it turns out well)!
My hope is that you, too, can develop your own techniques and ways of processing through paint. Intuitive and abstract painting are completely subjective and personal. I mentor my students so that they may honor their own organic painting process with kindness and delight.
One-On-One
2 hour session at my studio.
I supply everything you need!
Learn everything you need to start your own home practice. What you need to purchase, what your process may look like, how to use different tools, and how to assess basic color and composition. Choose an emotional or spiritual quandary to work with and I will facilitate a healing painting session for you!
Follow up sessions will be geared more specifically toward honing your unique practice and what process may serve you best to deepen the healing you may seek.
Sliding Scale: $80-$200
Group Sessions
2 hour class at your location. I come to you with all the supplies we need!
I facilitate a fun, playful, and dynamic group painting session. We can get serious and work with our emotions, or we can get silly and let our inner children come out to play!
Learn techniques and basic strategies for abstract expressionist painting so you can create something awesome!
Min 4- Max 6 students

Date Night
2 hour session at your home or my studio, up to you! Spend quality time playing and connecting with your partner through this facilitated painting date! I will provide everything you need and create a safe space for painting exploration. You can choose to work on the same canvas to create one large collaborative piece or work separately.
I will teach you some fun techniques, a bit about color theory, and the way we can communicate our emotions onto a canvas through movement and color.
